First draw your scale on the page - draw a horizontal line 1cm long with two tiny vertical lines at each end (Imagine a capital letter I, lying down), and label it "10km".





(a) Draw a horizontal line, 7.5cm long, with an arrow at the right-hand end.


(b) Draw a vertical line, 3cm long, with an arrow at the top.


(c) Draw a horizontal line, 4.5cm long, with an arrow at the left-hand end.


(d) Draw a vertical line, 5.2cm long, with an arrow at the bottom.
