HOW to multiply vectors???

please, help...

Three vectors are given by a= -2.0 + -1.0 + -4.4,

b= 2.0 + 0 + 2.0, and

c= 4.0 + -4.8 + -1.0

Find (a)·(b ×c ) and (a)·( b+c ).

can't figure it out...

answers 33.04 and -3.2 are not correct

Thank you very much!

HOW to multiply vectors???
Scalar product of (a1, a2, a3) and (b1, b2, b3) is a1*b1+a2*b2+a3*b3

Vector product of the aforementioned is the vector

(a2*b3-a3*b2, a3*b1-a1*b3, a1*b2-a2*b1)
