Radar to vectors question?

Use a scale (such as 1cm = 10km) to communicate the following aircraft displacements as vectors:





(a) seventy-five kilometers east;


(b) 30 km [N];


(c) 45 km [W];


(d) fifty-two kilometers south

I assume you have some sort of convention for a coordiante system. If I assume +X is horizontal at angle = 0 and +Y is vertical at angle 90 and then I assign the compass to North is up (+y) and keep the 1cm = 1 KM scale


a) 75 cm @ 0 deg


b) 30 cm @ 90 deg


c) 45 cm @180 deg


d) 52 cm @ 270 deg or -90 deg
